Privacy notice
How Monitorvectorgrid collects, uses, retains and protects personal data connected with enquiries and analysis work.
Controller and contact
Monitorvectorgrid is the controller for personal data described here. Contact us at hello@monitorvectorgrid.digital or Level 8, 31 Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2BH.
Data we collect
When you enquire, we receive your name, work email, chosen service and message. We may later hold meeting notes, correspondence, contract contacts and billing records. This website stores your cookie preference in your browser. We do not ask for raw customer-level app data through the contact form.
For client analysis, we request minimised and preferably pseudonymised transaction data. The exact fields, security route, controller/processor roles and deletion date are documented before transfer.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use enquiry details to reply and prepare a proposal under our legitimate interest in operating the practice and, when requested, to take steps toward a contract. Contract and project records are used to deliver work. Financial records are kept to meet legal obligations. Optional analytics, if introduced, will run only with consent.
We do not sell personal data or use enquiry details for unrelated advertising.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiry correspondence is normally deleted after 12 months. Contract, invoice and tax records are retained for six years after the relevant accounting period. Project working data follows the deletion date in the engagement terms, normally within 90 days of final acceptance unless a shorter period is agreed. Backups expire on their normal rotation.
Sharing and international transfers
Data may be processed by providers supporting email, secure file transfer, accounting and hosting, under contractual safeguards. We disclose information when legally required or to professional advisers bound by confidentiality. If a provider processes data outside the UK, we use an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards and assess relevant transfer risk.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. We may need to verify identity. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Security and changes
We use access controls, minimised fields, secure transfer arrangements and limited retention. No internet transmission is completely risk-free. Material changes to this notice will be dated on this page.
